The scholarships listed below are designated for business majors only. The application process will open in the spring semester.  Please watch for postings in Blackboard when the application period opens.  If any of the scholarships listed below are not available, it will be noted as such on the application.

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIPS AND REQUIREMENTS

DANIEL and AUDRA DEVINEY SCHOLARSHIP

  • Major in the School of Business
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Active in or do volunteer work for a local church
  • Maintain written communication with Daniel and Audra Deviney at least once per semester in which the
  • scholarship is received

NATHAN’S SCHOLARSHIP

  • Major in the School of Business
  • Full-time Student
  • Texas Resident
  • Junior or Senior (Must have completed 60 hours by the beginning of the fall semester of year applied)
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0

TRUETT SMITH SCHOLARSHIP

  • Major in the School of Business
  • Full-time Student
  • Texas Resident
  • Junior or Senior (Must have completed 60 hours by the beginning of the fall semester of year applied)
  • Student in Good Standing

C.C. LOCKWOOD SCHOLARSHIP

  • Major in the School of Business
  • Full-time Student
  • Student in Good Standing

ARLINE SPRABERRY SCHOLARSHIP

  • Major in the School of Business
  • Full-time Student
  • Junior or Senior (Must have completed 60 hours by the beginning of the fall semester of year applied)
  • Student in Good Standing

JAMES WILLIAMSON SCHOLARSHIP

  • Major in the School of Business
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Pursue a career in insurance/financial planning
  • Must be enrolled in 12 or more hours
  • Awarded for one semester at a time
  • Must reapply each semester

YATES ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP

  • Full-time Student
  • Accounting Major
  • Junior or Senior (Must have completed 60 hours by the beginning of the fall semester of year applied)
