HPU’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree plan is an intensive 4-year program provided in conjunction with the Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing. Most clinical work for the program will be completed at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
The BSN consists of 131 credit hours (42 in general education, 25 additional degree requirements in science, social science and statistics, and 64 in nursing.)
HPU’s BSN program is pending final approval from appropriate accrediting organizations. Students interested in pursuing a BSN degree are encouraged to apply to HPU now to begin general education coursework.
