A City Host will host groups during their time in the city by: orienting them to the city and CSM rules and guidelines; framing each ministry site and activity; guiding them to each site and restaurant; facilitating their entire schedule and leading evening discussions and debriefs to help them process their experiences. Start dates are generally around Jan/Feb or May 20. Positions last approximately 3 months with the possibility of an extension.

Alto Frio Baptist Camp – Summer Staffers needed! At Alto Frio, your spiritual life is very important to us. We expect you to be a Christian, be an active part of a body of believers, and have core beliefs that adhere to biblical teachings. Over the summer, you will go through a discipleship program to help you grow spiritually. You will also have the opportunity to attend worship services in the evenings. A major component of this position is the physical. The hours are long and the work is difficult at times. you will be asked to serve and clean up meals, clean dorms after groups leave, lifeguard, work on the ropes course, work in concessions, and any other odd jobs that may arise around the camp. Summer Staffers will be expected to maintain a level of professionalism that makes guests feel welcomed and wanting to return. This includes appropriate dress, being courteous to guests and fellow employees, being punctual, and completing tasks efficiently. Upon hiring, Summer Staffers may be required to have a health screening and drug test. Summer Staffers have paid room and board, meals provided by Alto Frio as long as there are guests on the grounds, and a weekly stipend.
