HPU El Paso Center taking part in El Paso Giving Day today

BROWNWOOD – November 15, 2017 – Howard Payne University’s El Paso Center is taking part in El Paso Giving Day today, Wednesday, November 15. El Paso Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising campaign built for nonprofits. Beyond the dollars raised, El Paso Giving Day provides a special, high-profile day annually to bring attention to the work and worth of El Paso’s nonprofit sector, to help nonprofits increase their capacity and to introduce new and younger donors to charitable giving.

“The HPU El Paso Center asks for your prayers on this day and requests that you consider donating a couple of dollars or more if your situation permits,” said Dr. Adrian Gil, director of the El Paso Center and professor of business. “Thank you for your prayers and contributions.”

The proceeds will benefit the Center’s activities and scholarships for its students. While donations will be accepted all day, donations during the Power Hour of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (MST) will multiply the Center’s opportunities.
