BROWNWOOD – August 13, 2013 – Howard Payne University recently announced the promotion of Jodi Goode to assistant vice president for information technology services.
Goode’s tenure with the university began in 2004 as PC specialist and, in 2006, she became the systems administrator. After briefly leaving HPU, she was re-employed in 2011 and later named the director of information technology services. Goode has also served as an adjunct faculty member for a number of years.
In May, she received the “Outstanding Staff Member Award” for the 2012-2013 academic year.
“Jodi serves the university very competently and faithfully,” said Dr. W. Mark Tew, provost and chief academic officer. “She and her staff do a remarkable job of attending to the computing and other technology needs of our faculty, staff and students.”
