BROWNWOOD – November 2, 2015 –Howard Payne University students Josh Farquharson and Ruby Johnson will present a senior recital on Thursday, November 5, at 7 p.m. The recital will be in the university’s Grace Chapel. Farquharson, a music major from Wichita Falls, will perform on the alto saxophone. Johnson, a music education major from Alvarado, will perform on the clarinet. Both Farquharson and Johnson are students from the studio of Stephen Goacher, professor of music at HPU.
“These seniors close four years’ intensive study with the time-honored tradition of a Debut Recital – an ending and a beginning,” said Goacher. “We are proud to present these students in concert.”
