ACADEMY OF FREEDOM HONORS PROGRAM
Developing graduates who are innovators and leaders in their fields is the heart of the Douglas MacArthur Academy of Freedom. As the multidisciplinary honors program at Howard Payne University, the Academy of Freedom provides a broad-based, liberal arts education firmly rooted in Christian values, Western civilization and free enterprise.
The Academy of Freedom offers a flexible academic program designed for honors students who want to advance beyond the normal requirements for an undergraduate degree. Almost every major at HPU can be combined with the Academy program of study, offering students the opportunity to combine their specialized training with an understanding of the basic principles representing the American way of life.
