The Department of Computer Information Systems offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Management Information Systems (MIS) and the Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Computer Information Systems (CIS).

Major Students seeking a B.B.A. with a major in MIS must complete the 36 hour business core along with 33 semester hours of directed CIS courses. Students seeking a B.S. degree with a major in CIS must complete 27 semester hours of CIS core courses along with an additional 15 semester hours of directed CIS electives, chosen in consultation with the CIS department chair.
Teacher Certification Teacher certification is available.
Courses Students may choose from a variety of courses, including options in the areas of programming, multimedia technologies, system development, and information system management.

Honors Program Students in the School of Business may choose to apply for admission to the Academy of Freedom multidisciplinary honors program. Providing an innovative approach to the academic program, the Academy enables students to combine their specialized major with coursework grounded in an understanding of the American free enterprise system. Through advanced study in such areas political science, history, psychology, and sociology, students gain a better understanding of their role in today's society. Challenging projects enable students to hone their research and writing skills for further study in graduate school.
