Twelve Howard Payne University students recently toured London, earning university credit from a variety of academic majors.
The group toured a number of historic and cultural sites including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Credit was awarded for courses in business, communications, English, history and exercise and sport science.
“The ESS course was titled ‘Walking London’,” said Trissa Cox, trip coordinator. “Our group walked more than 85 miles throughout the trip.”
Students who traveled to London included Laurel Boren, Rhea Bullock, Jennifer Crawford, Lindsey Gholson, Ally Hamilton, Ethan Hopkins, Rebekah Reed, Amber Schroepfer, Phoenix Solis, JulieAnn Steubing, Benny Worley and Kyle Ziegler.
Faculty traveling with students included Nancy Anderson, Mitzi Lehrer and coordinators Curly and Trissa Cox and Kathy Hagood.
