<< BackStudents travel to New York, Philadelphia and Boston

Thirteen Howard Payne University students recently visited many historic sites throughout New York, Philadelphia and Boston during a weeklong trip sponsored by Dr. Matthew and Mrs. Jennifer McNiece.
The group visited major historic and cultural landmarks in each city including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the Freedom Trail, which includes Old North Church and Paul Revere’s home in Boston, and Liberty Park and Ellis Island in New York.
“The trip was absolutely amazing,” said Angela Haney, a senior from Denison. “We had so much fun. I think my favorite part was getting to see ‘The Lion King’ on Broadway. It definitely made the trip. I got to do so many things that I had never done before from trying sushi to seeing Independence Hall.”
Students on the trip included Haney, Chandler Raine, Tony Johnston, Kirk Parsons, Jessica Terway, Jon Hutchason, Ryan Young, Caleb McKamie, Ben Butler, Kerrie Ford, Allyse Ballard, Kait Kelm and Matt Vargas.
