Volunteers serve more than 2,000 Thanksgiving meals
BROWNWOOD – December 5, 2011 – Howard Payne University held its annual Community Feast on Thanksgiving Day, in which more than 100 volunteers served 2,039 meals to their friends and neighbors.
“Words cannot adequately express my sincere appreciation for our volunteers and those of you whose donations made the meal possible,” said Bill Fishback, assistant vice president for business and human resources. “I am so blessed to live in Brownwood where very special people make serving others an important part of their Thanksgiving Day celebration.”
