<< BackReception honors Brian Street, HPU resident director
BROWNWOOD – December 5, 2011 – The HPU family said farewell to Brian Street, resident director for Jennings Hall, on Monday as he prepares to leave the university to take a position at The University of Texas at Tyler.
“Brian has been a tremendous asset to the men of Jennings Hall these past six and a half years and, indeed, has been a blessing to everyone with whom he’s worked,” said Dr. Brent Marsh, vice president for student life and dean of students. “He has been a highly involved and visible member of the student life staff and will be missed. However, we are all excited for Brian as he pursues a new opportunity at UT-Tyler.”
An interim resident director has been appointed for spring 2012.
“We are excited that Isaac Hawkins will return to HPU as interim resident director for Jennings Hall for the spring 2012 semester,” Marsh said. “Isaac served HPU with distinction as a resident assistant for three years, culminating with his graduation in May 2010. Isaac is currently pursuing a master of education degree in higher education from Dallas Baptist University.”
