(Top 10% at an Accredited High School or 3.80 GPA) AND (ACT of 29 OR SAT I of 1300 (Mathematics & Critical Reading Combined)) 3.25 Cumulative GPA required for renewal. A maximum of 5 awards will be made and an interview with the Director of the Academy is required. Determination will be made by February 15th. Academy Scholar awards may be comprised from a combination of institutional and Academy scholarship sources. |

With Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can use your mouse to click into the first field to enter text with your keyboard. Use the tab key to move to each field. When you are finished, you can submit the application electronically (you may have to click File--Save As before attaching the application to an email) or print off the form and return it through the mail or by fax to (325) 649-8923. In addition to the application, you must print two Reference Evaluation Forms and have your references (both must be academic) complete and return the form by mail or fax.
Deadlines: Please note that only twenty-five students will be admitted each year. The priority deadline for applications is February 1. All applicants must be interviewed by the Academy Admissions Committee. Decisions will be made by February 15. Students must preschedule classes by June 15 to hold their slot. Applications received after February 1 will be considered if the 25 available slots are not filled by students meeting the priority deadline. Once all slots are filled remaining applicants will be interviewed and placed on a waiting list in case slots become available.
