RICHARDSON, Texas –– 332 student-athletes from 15 universities and colleges are among the individuals recognized by the American Southwest Conference on its Spring 2008 All-Academic honor roll, the league office announced on Friday (May 9). The sports included are baseball, softball, tennis and track and field. Howard Payne placed 26 on the All-Academic honor roll.

FOOTBALL - Jackets Make A Difference In Europe
The Howard Payne University football program took 22 players on a ten-day trip to Sweden and Finland in mid-May to play football against two European teams. In the two games they played, the Yellow Jackets defeated the Swedish club-team, Tyresö Royal Crowns, 41-7, and the Finland Junior National Team, 68-0.
