As a member of the HPU chapel band, Jose Lopez has been able to "learn how to be a leader and to lead others in worship."
Being involved in the Baptist Student Ministry at HPU was a great fit for theater major Darren McElroy. "It allowed me to reach out to the community and reach out towards others for Christ," he said.
A business major and captain of the football team, Cody Hambrick has found time to be involved in a number of organizations on campus. He says, "One thing you have to do when you are here at Howard Payne is you have to get involved."
Earning a triple major in youth ministry, political science and the Academy of Freedom, Brittany Lunsford says, "Howard Payne has definitely helped me figure out what I want to do in life and where I want to go."
Chase Woodhouse, a Christian education major, has found that Howard Payne has really prepared him for life outside of school.
