The goal of Spring Sing is to honor God, represent HPU in a positive manner, and present a fun and entertaining production that showcases the talents, skills, and creativity of HPU students.
There are two ways students can participate in Spring Sing, as a performance or as part of the planning committee. The planning committee will be formed in October and meet weekly until the show weekend of March 24th and 25th. If you want to perform, participation in Spring Sing is open to any club or organization chartered and recognized by Howard Payne University. Participation is also open to non-organization affiliated groups of at least 10 students, pending the approval of the Spring Sing Committee. Should you have a group of friends that wants to participate, you can email Student Activities or attend the first Spring Sing Orientation Meeting on Thursday, November 3rd.
Once you have chosen to participate, you will need to familiarize yourself with the policies below.
Next, review the Calendar of mandatory meetings and script deadlines.
Below are downloadable script templates for each deadline. Performance groups must use the templates provided to ensure all components of the deadline are submitted for committee approval.
