Staff Profile: Isaac Williams

By Cailen Jenkins | The Baptist Student Ministry motto is “To know Christ and make Christ known, and that is exactly what Isaac Williams is doing. Williams is from May, Texas and attended and graduated from Howard Payne University with a Christian Education degree in May of 2019. Williams stepped right into a position in the HPU BSM after graduation. Williams is the campus missionary intern. His main goal is to “reach students on campus for Christ,” Williams says.

“The BSM encourages and give the students the opportunity to worship God and explore their faith and to grow in Christ through small groups, student lead worships and missions that send students all over the state, country, and world,” he said.

He works directly under the BSM director and helps plan all events and is responsible for task forces and student leadership team. Williams is excited for the upcoming Pancakes and Prayer event, which is an all-night event that allows Williams to connect with the students through prayer rooms, games, and of course pancakes. Pancakes and Prayer will be on Oct. 18 and 19.

William is a newlywed and when his internship is over, he and his wife, “will see and go wherever the Lord is calling them,” he said.
