Register for a Group Visit
Interested in bringing a group to visit campus? Group visits are customizable visit options for high school classes, homeschool co-ops, church youth groups, or other large parties. We are excited to work with you to create a schedule and experience that best suits your interests, travel schedule, and group size. To request a visit, simply fill out the Group Visit Registration form and our Campus Visit Coordinator will reach out to schedule your visit. Ministry Monday

Ministry Monday at HPU is a one-day preview event held for potential students called to ministry. This is a great opportunity for prospective ministry students and their families, as well as our HPU alumni ministers to come to campus for fellowship and to experience all that HPU is about! Students will:
- Tour the campus and residence halls
- Hear from HPU Christian Studies faculty
- Interact with current HPU students and faculty
- Enjoy lunch
- Learn more about financial aid
- Meet with an admission counselor
- Receive a free HPU t-shirt
Annual Homeschool Day
Homeschool Day is a specially designed preview event for homeschool students at HPU. It is a one-day preview event held on campus, open to all prospective students and their families. Visiting students experience our academic and social life and learn what HPU is all about.

Howard Payne University Address
1000 Fisk Street, Brownwood, TX 76801
From Austin, TX (~2 hrs 45 min / 140 miles):
- Take US-183 N out of Austin.
- Continue on US-183 N through Lampasas and Goldthwaite.
- In Brownwood, turn right on Austin Ave, then left on Fisk Street.
- HPU will be on your left.
From Dallas/Fort Worth (~3 hrs / 155 miles):
- Take I-20 W toward Abilene.
- Take exit 368B for US-84 W / US-183 S toward Brownwood.
- Follow US-84/US-183 into Brownwood.
- Turn left on Austin Ave, then left on Fisk Street to reach campus.
From San Angelo, TX (~1 hr 30 min / 80 miles):
- Take US-67 N out of San Angelo.
- Continue on US-67 N through Ballinger and Santa Anna.
- In Brownwood, turn right on Austin Ave, then left on Fisk Street.
From Abilene, TX (~1 hr 15 min / 75 miles):
- Take US-84 E / US-67 S toward Coleman.
- Stay on US-84 E to Brownwood.
- Turn right on Austin Ave, then left on Fisk Street.
