Who?

FLS is a leadership camp specifically designed for the students God has placed in your youth group to lead. Our vision is to take students already following the Lord, challenge them to dive deeper in their relationship with Him, and lead others to do the same.

When?

June 22-25, 2026

Registration will open January 1, 2026.

More details will be announced closer to camp.

Where?

FLS is partnering with Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX to provide dorm rooms and excellent food throughout the week. The beautiful campus has all the amenities required to run an excellent camp. As an added bonus, students will be able to interact with professors and faculty from the School of Christian Studies.

Cost?

FLS works with like-minded donors to provide a quality camp experience at a low cost. 

The 2026 rate is:

$150 per person for deposits mailed by May 15, 2026

$200 per person for deposits mailed by June 1, 2026

This includes room and board, a camp shirt and all written materials.

Additional Training

Adult Volunteer Training

Adult volunteers are essential to a well-run youth program. That’s why FLS is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Dr. Gary Gramling to offer targeted sessions to encourage and equip your leadership team! This year there will be five sessions including:

  • The joy of youth ministry
  • Leading an effective small group
  • How to engage parents 
  • Counseling strategies

 

These sessions are open to any youth worker, even if you’re not bringing students to FLS! The cost is $15 per adult. Scholarships are available.

Students Preparing for Vocational Ministry

If one (or more) of your students has surrendered to ministry, it means God has called you to play a vital role in preparing them for the future. We want to help! Dr. Rusty Wheelington and Rick Justice have both given their lives to the ministry and have trained ministry bound teenagers for years. They will be leading a special group for these students throughout the week. They will look at topics such as:​​

  • How do I know I’m called?
  • Different types of vocational ministry
  • How do I get started?
  • ​How to care for yourself in ministry
