Student Activities at HPU are designed to provide recreation, develop social skills, facilitate team work, provide venues for spiritual and intellectual growth, and create opportunities for fun.
The Student Activities Council (SAC) is the university’s student-operated programming organization. SAC is responsible for planning, coordinating and hosting events for the student body that are entertaining, engaging and educational.

Street Party – August 21 – Come meet our student organizations and enjoy an outdoor concert!
Impact – Sept. 2-3 – Impact, sponsored by the Baptist Student Ministry provides an opportunity for students to get to know faculty, staff, other students and local churches, and to participate in leadership and service activities. Students assist local area churches with special projects and wrap up the day with a targeted praise and worship experience, swimming and a cook out.
Family Weekend – Oct. 7-8 – All HPU Families, come enjoy a weekend on campus and a home football game.
Spring Street Party – January 12 – Come meet our student organizations and learn about getting involved
Spring Sing – March 24-25 – Come watch our student organization performances.
HPU Fest – April 8 – An all-day festival featuring musical acts, the annual chili cook-off, student organization tents, vendor booths and much more.
