Upper Division (Ages 14-18)
1st Prize – $1,000
2nd Prize – $600
3rd Prize – $400
Lower Division (Ages 13 & Under)
1st Prize – $500
2nd Prize – $300
3rd Prize – $200
Requirements
Contestant ages are determined by their age as of September 1st, 2026. For upper division, contestants must perform at least two pieces of contrasting styles, 15 minutes maximum length. For lower division, two pieces of contrasting styles, 10 minutes maximum. Programs that exceed the maximum length for their respective category will not be listened to in their entirety.
Entry fee:
Entry fee for the festival is $50 per student. Deadline to register is January 1st, 2027. A limited number of scholarships are available to help cover registration fees and travel costs. For more information on scholarships or questions about the festival, contact Dr. Jacob Skiles.
Festival Schedule:
Competitions will take place in the morning and wrap up by noon. Lunch will be provided for all contestants and their families. Masterclasses, hymn-playing sessions, and winners’ announcement will take place in afternoon followed by a guest artist concert.
