Come Connect, Be Inspired, Transform Tomorrow
Join us for an exclusive, invitation-only event with approximately 20 Howard Payne University families to be encouraged and motivated toward making a Legacy Impact long after Christ calls us home. The weekend will involve a time to Come Connect with friends over wonderful meals and leisure time, to Be Inspired by impactful speakers, discussion, and prayer, and to Transform Tomorrow with practical tools for leaving a legacy. Generous HPU friends are covering the expenses for the weekend (except for the leisure activities) because they believe in challenging and encouraging others to consider ways to leave a legacy through generosity.

MIKE SHARROW | CEO OF C12 BUSINESS FORUMS
Mike Sharrow serves as the CEO of C12 Business Forums, the world’s largest peer-learning organization for Christian CEOs, business owners, and executives. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2016, Mike has led C12 to achieve remarkable growth, including a 217% increase in membership and an impressive 262% gain in revenue. C12 currently serves over 4,000 members spanning the United States, Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and South Africa. Based in San Antonio, Texas, Mike leads the C12 headquarters team as they support nearly 200 full-time C12 Chairs to equip Christian CEOs and business owners to build great businesses for a greater purpose. Mike grew up in Alaska and currently resides in San Antonio with his wife, Jacqui, and their two daughters, Elayna and Sophia. Mike is an active member of Community Bible Church.
RAYMOND HARRIS | ARCHITECT AND VENTURE CAPITALIST
Raymond H. Harris is an architect, executive movie and music producer, and venture capitalist in God’s kingdom. He is founder of one of the largest architectural firms specializing in corporate architecture. As one of the most prolific American architects, Raymond uses his profit to build economic engines and ignite young men and women to develop influential businesses in entertainment, agriculture, manufacturing, and technology. He is a writer and speaker, having previously published three books Enduring Wealth – Being Rich in this World and the Next, Business by Design, and The Heart of Business.
Raymond serves on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards and is extensively involved in sustainable community development projects in Africa and Asia. He is also an executive producer for numerous movies distributed by Sony Pictures and Lionsgate. He has hiked all the national parks in the continental US, has served as a Boy Scout scoutmaster, and has run over fifty half-marathons. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and the College of Architecture.
Raymond and his wife, Marydel, have four adult children, who are married, and ten grandchildren. They reside in Dallas, Texas, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
O.S. HAWKINS | PRESIDENT EMERITUS OF GUIDESTONE FINANCIAL RESOURCES
O.S. Hawkins, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, is a graduate of TCU (BBA) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, PhD). He is Chancellor and Senior Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Evangelism at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the former pastor of the historic First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, and is President Emeritus of GuideStone Financial Resources, the world’s largest Christian-screened mutual fund serving 250,000 church workers and Christian university personnel with an asset base exceeding twenty billion dollars, where he served as President/CEO from 1997-2022.
Hawkins is the author of more than 50 books, including the best-selling Joshua Code and the entire Code series of devotionals published by HarperCollins/Thomas Nelson with sales of more than three million copies. Criswell: His Life and Times is the sequel to his previous book, In the Name of God: The Colliding Lives, Legends, and Legacies of J.Frank Norris and George W. Truett.
He preaches in churches and conferences across the nation. He is married to his wife, Susie, and has two daughters, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren.
JOHN DUNCAN | SENIOR PASTOR OF THE CHURCH AT HORSESHOE BAY
Rev. Dr. John Duncan holds a Doctor of Philosophy from The Open University, Cambridge, England, a Doctor of Ministry and Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as a Pastor at Locker Baptist Church, Richland Springs, Texas, and as Assistant of Youth at First Baptist Church in Hurst, Texas, Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Henderson, Texas, and then Senior Pastor for twenty years at Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas. In 2007, John became Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, Georgetown, Interim Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in San Marcos, then Interim Pastor of the Kowloon International Baptist Church in Hong Kong and adjunct Professor at Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Duncan began his term as Co-Pastor at the Church at Horseshoe Bay in July of 2017 and became Senior Pastor in 2024.
