UIl Congress Workshop
Join us at HPU on October 8, 2025, for our Congress workshop for high school students. The cost is $50 per student.
The UIL Congress workshop features small group instruction in Congress basics and presentation techniques. Students and coaches participate in small workshops with guided practice.
Lunch is on your own-on campus or at one of our many fast food restaurants.

UIL Speech, Debate and JOurnalism workshop
Join us at HPU on November 12, 2025, for our annual UIL workshops for high school students. The cost is $30 per student.
The UIL workshop features small group instruction in all UIL speaking events including prose, poetry, LD and CX debate, informative and persuasive speaking, as well as all UIL journalism events. Students and coaches participate in small workshops with guided practice.
Lunch is on your own-on campus or at one of our many fast food restaurants.
