Virtual 5K Run/Walk 2024
During the first HPU Alumni Association Virtual 5K in 2023, there were
105 alumni, friends, and students who participated from 24 cities and 4 states.
When: Saturday, March 23, 2024
Where: Anywhere
Registration Open: January 26 – March 6, 2024
Cost: $40 per person
Support the HPU Alumni Association through this virtual 5K run/walk. Registration is $40 per person and a portion will go to support student-focused events and scholarships.
You can participate in your neighborhood, with other alumni and friends in your area, or on the HPU campus! You can also sponsor a student for $10 to allow them to participate on campus!
Submit your time to alumni@hputx.edu on the day of the race. The top 3 times will receive a prize. Also, post a photo during your run/walk and use #hpu5k to connect with other alumni and friends across the country.
Race packets will include a dri-fit shirt, race number and HPU sticker. Packets will be mailed one week before the race. If you register after March 6, packets can be picked up in person or will be mailed after the race.

Businesses Sponsorship – $250
Includes:
- Your logo on the official Virtual 5K shirt
- Your logo listed on the race website
- Recognition on social media and event press releases
- Two entries in the race (includes t-shirts and race bibs)
Family Sponsorship – $125
Includes:
- Your name on the official Virtual 5K shirt
- Your name listed on the race website
- Two entries in the race (includes t-shirts and race bibs)
Student Sponsorship – $10
- Pay to sponsor an HPU student who will run in the race on March 23.
