Welcome to the Junior Jackets Club!

Junior Jackets are children and grandchildren of HPU graduates! This club provides unique opportunities for kids of all ages to be involved at Howard Payne University and learn what it means to be a Yellow Jacket. 

Ages newborn to 18 are invited to participate. Membership is $25 per child.

Calendar

  • October 7, 2023 – Junior Jackets Day at the HPU Football Game
    Pick up your new Junior Jackets T-shirt and come line the tunnel for the Jackets to run out on the field at the start of the game! Please arrive at 12:40 p.m. to participate.
  • October 14, 2023 – Stinger Spectacular
    Junior Jackets will receive a free meal at Stinger Spectacular’s HPU Family Picnic from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Also, kids ages 3-10 can stop by the Little Jackets’ Nest area for fun games, activities and a bounce house.
  • December 5, 2023 – Virtual Christmas Painting Class
    Enjoy a guided watercolor painting lesson of a Christmas scene with HPU alumna Emily Hutson ’10.  The lesson will be on Zoom. Sign up by November 27 to have supplies mailed to your house to participate. This will be a perfect gift for your Junior Jacket to give a loved one for Christmas! Click here to sign up.
  • January 27, 2024 – Junior Jackets Day at the HPU Basketball Games

    Join us for a fun day at the HPU Basketball games on Saturday, January 27, at the Brownwood Coliseum. Junior Jackets will receive free entrance. The HPU Lady Jackets will play HSU at 1:00 p.m. and the HPU Jackets will play the HSU at 3:00 p.m. Arrive by 1:30 p.m. to participate in a halftime contest during the women’s game (ages 5 and up).   • April 2024 – Junior Jackets Day at the HPU Baseball and Softball Games
