Welcome to SWARM (Student Welcome and Registration Months)
We’re so excited to officially welcome you to SWARM, Student Welcome and Registration Event, your first big step into life at Howard Payne University! This special event is all about you, designed to ensure you feel confident, connected, and ready to start your HPU journey on a strong footing.
At SWARM, you will:

🗓️ Get a head start by building your class schedule for the semester
💼 Meet with the Financial Aid and Business Offices to find scholarship opportunities
🪪 Receive your student ID card
🍽️ Enjoy a complimentary lunch on campus
🏫 Tour the campus and a residence hall
❓Get your questions answered by the Student Experience team
🛍️ Shop for HPU gear at The Stinger Store
🤝 Make new friends with fellow Yellow Jackets

Remember, you will need to submit your $100 tuition deposit and proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination (MCV4) before scheduling. Shot records can be uploaded on the HPU myGateway, emailed to studentexperience@hputx.edu, or mailed to: Howard Payne University, University Nurse, 1000 Fisk Street, Brownwood, TX 76801.
