By Emily Hughitt | Celeste Justice, Howard Payne’s test center coordinator, administrative assistant and VA school certifying assistant, recently took on the title of Coordinator for Academic Success.
While Justice is keeping all of her old responsibilities, this new job means adding more to her plate.
Now, Justice oversees freshman advising, coordinates dual credit enrollment, peer tutoring and learning assistance, along with her previous responsibilities.
“I chose to take on this job, because it gives me the opportunity to meet and visit with many HPU students,” Justice said.
Each of Justices’ job titles include multiple different tasks, and she said her workload is full, but she enjoys it.
She spends her time hiring and training tutors, helping students with learning disabilities, coordinating advising appointments for new students and other tasks.
“I want to help students thrive at HPU,” said Justice. “This gives me an opportunity for personal growth, as well.”
Justice said the favorite part of her job is “working alongside great people while helping students succeed.”
