HPU students spread Gospel throughout the world this summer

BROWNWOOD – July 3, 2012 – Thirty-one Howard Payne University students and three recent graduates are serving the Lord and their communities this summer in various mission fields around the world. From HPU’s own community of Brownwood to foreign locations such as Nicaragua and Central Asia, students are spending their “free time” bringing others closer to God.

“I am so glad to have so many students from Howard Payne out around our state, country and across the globe, sharing the love of Jesus Christ from so many different approaches,” said Keith Platte, director of HPU’s Baptist Student Ministry. “This is a testimony of what God is doing in and among the lives of our students at Howard Payne and they can’t keep it inside. They must share what they know.”
