About the Academy of Freedom Museum
Welcome to Howard Payne University’s historic Academy of Freedom!
Thousands of people over more than six decades have visited this most unique educational space. Dedicated in 1969, the Academy of Freedom Museum commemorates humanity’s search for lasting freedom and hosts the university’s multidisciplinary honors program in civic leadership and public policy.
A friendly reminder that this is an active classroom building! We ask that you please maintain a respectful volume during your visit.
