Newbury Family Welcome Center

Construction Underway

The Newbury Family Welcome Center was named after former HPU President Dr. Don Newbury and his family. The building will display key aspects of HPU’s history, community, and culture. The main hall will accommodate up to 200 guests, while a smaller conference room will host 80 guests. The admissions office will be housed in the Welcome Center and be fitted with 10 work spaces. The Newbury Family Welcome Center will serve as the “front door” of the University and provide a new state-of-the-art space for prospective students, current students, alumni, and friends to gather.

As the first new building on campus in 20 years, the Newbury Family Welcome Center is scheduled to be completed and open to the public in the Spring of 2022. Due to the rising cost of construction, $375,000 remains to fund the entire project. There is still time to help in the final stage of completion. Below are a wide range of giving opportunities to allow everyone to make a positive impact for generations of future Yellow Jackets and Alumni.
