Each production is entirely student-led, with organization presidents and Spring Sing directors guiding the performances.

Awards for the competition include an $800 first-place prize provided by HPU Alumni Association; a $500 second-place prize provided by HPU Student Government Association; and a $300 third-place prize provided by HPU Student Activities.
