HPU El Paso Center collects cans and other food items for local food bank

El Paso Center Food Drive for webBROWNWOOD – January 30, 2017 – Howard Payne University’s El Paso Center hosted a three-week food drive during the 2016 Thanksgiving season through which students, faculty and staff donated more than 170 pounds of food. The collected canned-food was donated to The El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

“I’m proud of all of those who were a part of this initiative,” said Dr. Adrian Gil, director of HPU’s El Paso Center and associate professor of business. “It was great to come together as a university and serve our local community.”
