BROWNWOOD – April 13, 2018 – Howard Payne University student Abraham Cooper, of Early, will present a junior piano recital on Tuesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. This public event will be held in the university’s Grace Chapel and there is no charge for admission.
Cooper is majoring in music performance (piano) and biochemistry. He is a piano student from the studio of Dr. Elizabeth Wallace, chair of the Department of Music and tenured professor of music.
Selections for the recital will include “Sonata in E major, K. 380” and “Sonata in C major, K. 421,” both by Domenico Scarlatti; “Piano Sonata No. 2 in F sharp minor,” by Johannes Brahms; and “Three Moods,” by Aaron Copland.
