Two HPU faculty members to present recital on Tuesday, November 14

faculty recital 2017 for webBROWNWOOD – November 10, 2017 – Dr. Gregory Church and Dr. Elizabeth Wallace, two of Howard Payne University’s School of Music and Fine Arts faculty members, will present a recital Tuesday, November 14, at 7:30 p.m. The recital will be held in the university’s Grace Chapel and there is no charge for the public to attend.

Tenor vocalist Dr. Gregory Church, HPU professor of music, and pianist Dr. Elizabeth Wallace, chair and tenured professor in HPU’s Department of Music, will perform “In Native Worth” from Franz Josef Haydn’s The Creation as well as selections by Robert Schumann, Francis Poulenc and Hal Hopson.

“I am looking forward to performing again with my colleague and friend Dr. Elizabeth Wallace,” said Dr. Church. “It has been some time since we have done a recital together and I have enjoyed working with her on this project.”
