Degrees Offered
The Department of Natural Sciences offers a challenging curriculum with majors in biology, biomedical science, and chemistry. Graduates from the program will be prepared for successful careers in a variety of health professions, or for employment in fields such as environmental science, research, science education and more. Many students also choose to continue their education in graduate school. Students in the department enjoy small class sizes, hands-on lab experiences, advising/mentorship from HPU educators and opportunities to develop lifelong friendships with classmates.

The Department of Physical Sciences offers courses to students wishing to study general science and physics, as well as chemistry and biochemistry.
Students interested in attending pharmacy school can also take their prerequisites via our prepharmacy degree plan.
We are comprised of a dedicated faculty and offer a wide range of courses.
The Department of Physical Sciences offers excellent teaching facilities and instruments.
