Current Projects and Studies: Mrs. Langford is working to finish her dissertation over the construction of stability analysis of the angiogenesis process in a mathematical model of a two-compartmental, biodegradable implant.

Extracurricular Activities within HPU: HPU Community Band; Sponsor of Tau Beta Sigma

Interests Outside of HPU: Coach of MATHCOUNTS (since 2016); avid crafter (Mrs. Langford is currently remodeling her house including framing windows.  A year ago she hadn’t even used power tools!); building furniture; attending musical events on campus 

Recent Notable Projects: This summer was rather uneventful 

Favorite Bible Verse: “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”  – Acts 17:11

Inspiration Behind the Verse: Despite the fact that Paul was highly educated in the Scriptures, the Bereans still relied upon their own initiative to verify what he said was true.  Throughout life, we all must determine what our own beliefs are through our own studies of the Scriptures, rather than just relying upon what has been taught us even by trustworthy people, such as a pastor or parent.  This also shows how God admires critical and independent thinking, and that logic and faith are not mutually exclusive; rather, they are coupled.
